Ingredientes para preparar milanesas caseras de lentejas.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked Grano Pampa lentils

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped

  • 3 tablespoons Grano Pampa Lentil Flour

  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 egg (optional)

  • Breadcrumbs or gluten-free coating for breading

  • Oil for cooking

Instructions

1. Cook the lentils

If using dried lentils, cook them until tender.

Drain them well to remove excess moisture and allow them to cool before using.

2. Prepare the mixture

Place the cooked lentils in a large bowl and mash them with a fork or potato masher.

Add the onion, garlic, parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper.

3. Add the flour

Mix in the Grano Pampa Lentil Flour until a firm mixture forms.

If using egg, add it at this stage to help bind the ingredients together.

Helpful tip: If the mixture feels too wet, add an extra tablespoon of lentil flour.

4. Shape the cutlets

Divide the mixture into eight equal portions.

Using slightly damp hands, shape each portion into a cutlet of your preferred thickness.

5. Bread the cutlets

Coat each cutlet with breadcrumbs or a gluten-free breading mixture.

Press gently to ensure the coating adheres well.

6. Cook

Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for approximately 20 minutes, or cook in a lightly oiled skillet until golden brown.

Turn halfway through cooking for even browning.

7. Serve

Serve the cutlets fresh from the oven or skillet with salads, mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or inside a sandwich.

And that's it! Your homemade lentil cutlets are ready to enjoy.
