If you're looking for a tasty option for a snack platter or something different to pair with your favorite dips, these homemade chickpea flour nachos are a total win.

They’re crispy, easy to make, and have that toasty flavor that makes them seriously addictive. Plus, since they’re made with chickpea flour, they’re naturally gluten-free, more nutritious, and packed with plant-based protein.

Best of all: you don’t need any fancy ingredients or complicated techniques. In under 30 minutes, you’ll have a homemade snack perfect for sharing.

Servings: 2 servings

Prep time: 25 minutes

Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chickpea flour

  • ½ cup water

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Salt to taste

  • Paprika, oregano, and chili flakes to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the dough

In a bowl, mix the chickpea flour with the water, olive oil, salt, and your preferred seasonings. Stir well until you get a smooth, manageable dough.

2. Roll and cut

Place the dough on a clean surface and roll it out very thin using a rolling pin. The thinner the dough, the crispier the nachos will be.

Cut into triangles or your preferred shape.

3. Bake

Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F) for 10 minutes. Arrange the nachos on a baking tray without overlapping and bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden and crispy.

Helpful tip: if you want more even nachos, prick the dough with a fork before baking to prevent it from puffing up.

4. Serve

Let them cool for a few minutes so they crisp up even more, then serve with your favorite dips. They’re amazing with guacamole, hummus, or a homemade salsa.

And that’s it! Your crispy homemade nachos are ready to enjoy.
